Arun is a Principal Associate with the Bangalore office of Kochhar & Co. Arun is dual qualified and holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering along with his LLB. Arun is also a Certified Ethical Hacker and is a registered Patent Agent with the Indian Patent Office.

Arun is regularly involved in reviewing new products and solutions of customers and provides advice on legal aspects of such products and solutions. Arun does substantial work in communications, advising offshore operations on their use of voice over IP, cloud PBX providers on services to India and video conferencing providers. He does substantial work in data privacy. He is also an expert on cyber security and advises clients on cyber security issues, assists on data breach situations and has also been part of teams assisting clients on data theft matters. Arun has wide experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in India. Arun also has wide experience in advising on e-commerce laws, fintech laws, health laws, and foreign trade laws.

Arun also has extensive experience working as an in-house counsel with various leading multi-national corporations.
