Mohamed is a bilingual lawyer – equally fluent in both Arabic and English with over 13 years of overall experience, of which 8 years are in the UAE. He is well-versed with UAE federal and local laws with expertise in corporate, commercial and employment law.
Mohamed has extensive experience in dealing with various authorities and heads the Government and Regulatory desk in the Firm. He has advised and facilitated the formation of more than 150 mainland and free-zone companies across all Emirates, and has thorough knowledge of the related requirements, procedures, documentation and processes involved. He also facilitates seamless procurement of licenses, permits, and approvals from the concerned competent authority including the land department in UAE.
Mohamed also regularly advises and represents clients before the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) and other competent authorities for all labour related matters including recruitment, employee benefit schemes and plans, termination, disciplinary complaints, breach of confidentiality and non-competition agreements, etc. In case of labour disputes, he also assists in litigation management.
