Tameem is a Partner with the Firm and has almost three decades of professional experience, out of which she has practiced for eleven years before the UAE and DIFC courts. Prior to moving to Dubai, she practiced litigation at the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. She is registered as DIFC Practitioner Part II and has successfully argued various matters. She is well-versed with the laws and procedures of the DIFC Courts and is also part of the pro bono clinic programs with DIFC Courts, Dubai (UAE). She specializes in disputes pertaining to banking matters.
Apart from the above, she has a good understanding of Islamic Finance and Corporate laws. She has assisted several multinational as well as UAE based clients embroiled in disputes before various courts in the UAE.
Her twenty-six years of legal services have equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the international legal framework and the different intricacies involved in various jurisdictions. She is an avid speaker and has made presentations on myriad topics at various reputed forums including delivered lectures in reputed legal institutions. She also contributes to news articles on relevant legal issues from time to time.
